Admission Requirements:

UME Requirements: Credit in English Language, Literature in English and a pass in maths in WASC / SSCE , NECO,NABTEB or GCE O/ Level or its equivalent plus any THREE subjects out of which one must be the Arts or Social Sciences.

Directly Entry Requirements:

(a) A University Diploma in Mass Communication recognized by Senate at the Credit level.

(b) A University Diploma in Theatre Arts at Credit (minimum) level.

(c) OND Mass Communication in the Upper Credit division or its equivalent.

(d) GCE Advanced Level or HSC with passes in Literature, History and CRK or any other Arts or Social Science 

      Subjects.

(e) NCE in Theatre Arts or relevant areas with credit.

Degree Requirements

The NUC minimum standards are applicable . Students of Mass Communication admitted by UME must pass at least one hundred and sixty eight (168) credit units  and one hundred and twently-two (122) credit units for those entering by DE. These include 10 units of  General Study's courses , which students must take and pass.
