The degrees awarded by the School of Dentistry are B.D.S. with duration of six years through UME/DIRECT ENTRY admissions.Admission Requirement for the 6 year Degree programme:
(UME)Candidates should posses at least 5 credit passes at the Ordinary level at GCE/WASC, SSCE, NECO
or its recognized equivalent , at not more than (2) sittings . this must include , English,Mathematics , Physics, chemistry, and Biology.
UME Subjects are:
Use of English , Physics , Chemistry and Biology Admission Requirement for the 5 year Degree programme (Direct Entry) .In addition to A(i) above, candidates should possess:
1.At least 3 Advanced levelpasses in Physics,Chemistry and Biology at GCe or HSC at more than two sittings.
2.At Honours Degree not lower than second class from a recognized University in the following:
(a)Bsc. Biological Sciences(Biochemistry, Microbiology,Chemistry and Biology);
(b)Bsc. Physical Sciences( Chemistry,Physics);
(c)BSc. Medical Sciences(Anatomy, Physiology, Nursing, Med.Lab.Tech.)
(d)B.Sc. or OD Optometry,
(e)B.Pharm ( Pharmacy) or Pharm D
