Mrs. Ogechukwu Augustina Ikediugwuwas born to Mr.  & Mrs. Agulefo Ekwunife on the 20^th of June, 1962. She hails from Umunya in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. She is a professionaleducator, having obtained her T.C.II Certificate in 1984 from Ora Teachers’ College, Sabongida- Ora and N.C.E. in 1989 in English/History, Anambra State College of Education Awka. She got her B.A. (Education/English), Second Class Honours (Upper Division), from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1998, and an M.A. in English and Literature from the University of Benin, Benin City, in 2001. She joined the Department of English and Literature in 2011 and on the M.Phil/PhD programme of the University of Benin, Benin City. She is married to Prof. F.E.O. Ikediugwu from Nnokwa in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State and they are blessed with a child, Izuchukwu N. Ikediugwu.
