The current Acting Director of the Institute of Education.A  Professor of Educational Planning. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Principles and Methods of Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Educational Planning from University of Benin. Managing Editor of the Benin Journal of Educational studies (BJES).  Teaches General Methods in Education and Institutional Management in Education. .  A member of the Institute Research and Publications Committee.  Represents the Institute at several University boards and committees. Previously Institute of Education representative in the University Admissions Board.  Research areas of interest are educational cost analysis, gender issues in Education, teacher education and education policy analysis.   Happily married with children.
