Dr. C.U.C. Ugorji holds a PhD in English Linguistics, and is at the moment a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics.He has been engaged in teaching, research and publications for more than 20 years, in Europe and Africa and has published widely in Europe, Africa, America, and India. His research contributes to metalinguistic theorising and pedagogy, as well as to descriptions and analyses in the areas of English Linguistics and African Linguistics, among others. He is also a professional teacher, holding an Advanced TESOL certificate; and has contributed to text development in the Teaching of English to Speakers of other Languages (EFL and ESL).
